Collaborate with STA.

Bring a thoughtful literary idea to the table. Storyteller Talent Agency welcomes proposals for author conversations, speaking opportunities, publisher showcases, and literary pop-ups in Austin and beyond.

Stories give people a reason to gather.

We’re interested in proposals that connect authors and illustrators with readers and the publishing community. A strong idea starts with a clear audience, a relevant story, and people who can make the experience work.

Publishers, book-club teams, booksellers, event producers, cultural organizations, and brands can contact Kayla Bramante to discuss the fit. We review each proposal before confirming participants, responsibilities, rights, timing, or any commercial terms.

Ideas we can discuss

01

Author conversations & book clubs

Propose a reading, author interview, book-club discussion, or conversation about how a book reaches its readers. Identify the author or work and the audience you want to bring together.

02

Literary-agent panels & moderation

Invite a conversation about querying, author careers, publishing paths, or subsidiary rights. Tell us the session’s purpose and which agent or area of experience would fit.

03

Publisher & audiobook showcases

Explore a publisher-led title showcase, author-and-narrator conversation, or listening event using material approved by the relevant rights holders.

04

Literary pop-ups & venue collaborations

Discuss a curated book pop-up or literary program with a bookstore, café, venue, festival, or cultural organization in Austin and beyond. Include the venue and proposed operating partners.

Get to know the agency.

STA represents authors, author-illustrators, and illustrators across publishing and subsidiary-rights opportunities. Explore our team and public work when considering a proposal.

A proposal starts a conversation.

An inquiry does not confirm a partnership, sponsorship, event, or speaker. Publishing and rights deal credits are distinct from event or brand collaborations. Confirmed collaborations will be identified explicitly.

Book rights or author representation?

For acquiring rights to a represented work, contact the agency about the specific title and rights. Authors seeking representation should use the relevant author inquiry route.

Questions & answers

What kinds of collaborations can I propose?

Send a proposal for an author conversation, literary-agent panel, moderated discussion, book-club event, publisher or audiobook showcase, or literary pop-up. STA reviews the fit, participants, timing, venue, rights, and proposed responsibilities before making a commitment.

Can I invite an STA agent or represented author to speak?

Yes. Identify the person or type of speaker you have in mind, the audience, topic, dates, format, and any proposed fee or travel arrangements. An inquiry does not confirm an appearance, author participation, or availability.

Does STA currently operate an Austin bookshop, café, or publishing imprint?

No such venue or imprint is announced on this page. This is an invitation to discuss collaboration proposals. STA’s Austin address is a mailing address; it is not advertised as a public event venue or walk-in office.

Is a publishing deal the same as an event partnership?

No. The Publishing Partners and Recent Deals pages describe publishing and rights relationships. A deal credit does not establish an event sponsorship, pop-up, book-club affiliation, or broader brand partnership.

Should authors use this page to query an agent?

For a debut or new-manuscript query, use the agency’s Queries page and current agent availability. Proven indie or already-published authors can use the Published Authors page. Collaboration inquiries are separate from representation consideration.
